Blackmoon is the debut album by nomadic DJ vocalist Hideyo Blackmoon and features a collection ethnically influenced ambient songs in her native Japanese. Her professional career started in 1999 via her roots in the underground electronic music scene throughout the finest clubs and raves the world has to offer. In 2005 Lenny Ibizarre from Ibizarre records (Ibiza) suggested that she should release an album of her work, which she proceeded to produce through a multitude of international collaborations. The songs combine on both eastern and western culture due to the colorful selection of musicians involved; inside this pleasant sound bed we find her vocals in graceful motion as she draws upon folk, rock, pop, lounge and classical inspiration.

Hideyo Blackmoon (Ibizarre) bio
Hideyo Blackmoon, DJ, vocalist and producer,had been glowing brightly as a musical talent in the Tokyo party scene since the mid 80's. Her professional career started in the late 90's and was strongly influenced by the rave culture of that time. In 2001 she started living a nomadic lifestyle, built on festivals, solar eclipses and the nature of over 20 countries. After living in San Francisco, she is currently based on the magical music island of Ibiza, where she compose and produce a wide variety of electronic music while collaborating with musicians from all over the world.
Her first album features a multitude of international collaborations, resulting in a collection of ethnically diverse songs; all song in her native Japanese. This debut album will be released by Ibizarre Records on the day of the longest solar eclipse in this century; 22nd of July.
